Community Hub
Our Community Hub is one of the only places locally where disabled and non-disabled people regularly work, eat, learn and participate side by side. Inclusion is built into the space – physically, socially and emotionally – creating everyday opportunities for connection and support.
Our community hub provides:
-
A pantry serving 850+ members
-
A café offering training, work experience, and affordable meals
-
Volunteer placements
-
Communal spaces for fitness classes, creative sessions, training, advice drop-ins, and MP surgeries
-
Support for young people to build practical employment skills
Our activities are shaped through regular, informal conversations with the people who attend them. Local volunteers help run the café and host weekly “Chatty Café” tables. SEN colleges refer young people and co-create training plans with us. Trusted partners such as Citizens Advice and the Police hold regular drop-ins. Our local MP also uses the space for community surgeries.
Together, these contributions have created something rare and valued: a shared space that feels accessible, safe and welcoming to all – especially those excluded elsewhere.

Community Café
Opened in 2024, the Community Café at Yateley Industries supports our charity while providing a welcoming space for everyone. Visitors can enjoy affordable, freshly made meals, snacks, and drinks, as well as access wrap-around support from partners including Citizens Advice, local police, and MP drop-in sessions.
