Community Pantry

Our Community Pantry helps local people stretch their budgets further while reducing food waste. By redistributing surplus supplies alongside purchased essentials, we make good-quality food more affordable and ensure nothing goes to waste.

For just £5 per weekly shop, members can select groceries worth at least £30 (and often more) including fresh fruit and vegetables, chilled and frozen food, cupboard staples, and hygiene products.

The Pantry is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 10am–2pm and is available to anyone in the community without the need for a referral.

Now supporting over 850 members, the Pantry has become a lifeline for households across Hart.

Supported by the Household Support Fund, The Pantry is run in partnership with Hart District Council and Hampshire County Council. We have a wonderful team of volunteers who help to keep The Pantry running. Together, we are helping to make sure vulnerable families and individuals can access affordable food, community services and inclusive opportunities to thrive.

I am grateful for the pantry being here. The volunteers are really lovely and very helpful. It is great that I can get a variety of food, that helps to supplement my shopping, as my family and I would not be able to survive without it.
