Job Coaching
Launched in September 2023, this dedicated service currently supports 30 young disabled adults with personalised advice and guidance. We assist individuals with job applications, securing supported internships and work placements and navigating the complexities of the Department for Work and Pensions’ Access to Work+ scheme and other relevant benefits.
This expansion reflects our commitment to helping more disabled people overcome barriers to employment and independence.

K's Story
Since 2020, K, 26, lives with an acquired brain injury and physical disabilities. Before joining Yateley Industries, they had been out of work since working as an delivery driver pre-injury. K worked with our job coach and secured employment with Yateley Industries in the summer and is now a valued member of the organisation.
K has noticed a significant improvement in their mental health:
I like being at work because if I’m at home, that’s when the demons come out to play. My mental health is better. I’ve gained more friends and am more sociable. I like packing tasks and can sit down and still work. I like the people I work with.
K also supported Yateley Industries in their fundraising efforts by taking part in their team for the Twilight Run.
